Welcome to The Matthews Foundation
During their lifetime, Peggy and Bob Matthews supported many arts, cultural and science related organizations. The Matthews Foundation is at the beginning of its mission, working to enrich the community by giving grants to qualified organizations in San Diego. I look forward to hearing from groups Peggy was involved with in recent years and I am also excited and energized by the thought of discovering and learning about new groups and charitable organizations The Foundation could help, whether they are grass roots charities or long established organizations.
Our interests are purposefully broad as we launch The Foundation. The only firm parameters are that the money be used in San Diego County and there is a measurable result from the grant. If you have a cause you would like us to consider, I look forward to hearing from you. It’s an honor and a privilege to continue the work that was so meaningful to my dear friends, Peggy and Bob Matthews.
